The project involved the complete transformation of a narrow and dark room to be used for feeding, in compliance with the strict rules of the sector.
A fully glazed and exposed pastry area, an area for the processing and production of bread, a wood-burning oven, a bar counter, a bakery counter and a small service loft. All these elements are inserted in a difficult elongated space, typical of the morphology of the buildings of that area.
The project plays with the recovery of the historical part and the insertion of new designed elements. The original wooden beams have been recovered and put in sight, as well as the arches and the historical stone walls. The style is eclectic, vintage and material. Walls with unfinished finishes, oak wood, iron, majolica, cement flooring define a welcoming and warm space, in tune with the external urban context.
